Man answers to job interview questions of female hr staff

Whoever said a job interviewer’s job is easy obviously hasn’t been on that end of the stick. Hiring managers go through dozens of resumes for a job post, they interview a lot of people, and they sometimes have to deal with dumb answers to their questions. Speaking of which, here are some common job interview questions and the horrible answers of some on those.

Don’t believe us? Here are some of the most cringe-worthy interview answers job applicants threw hiring managers’ way (note: these are all real):

1. What do you know about us?

“Honestly? Nothing, really.”

2. What is your greatest weakness?

I don’t have one.”
“Oh, my greatest one? I have so many.”

3. Why do you want to work here?

“I was told you guys pay really well.”
“I just saw your job ad and thought I should give it a shot.”

4. Why should we hire you?

“Because you guys are looking for someone to fill the position and that’s me.”
“Because if you don’t you’ll regret it.”

5. Tell me about yourself.

“I don’t really have much to say about myself.

6. Why were you laid off?

“My former boss and I had a misunderstanding and I lost my temper.”

7. Are you interviewing with other companies right now?

“I have 2 other offers on the table so I expect a quick response otherwise you have lost me.”

8. Do you have any questions?

“No.”
“How often do you give raises?”
“How much vacation time do I get?”

There are countless guides available that can help job applicants answer job interview questions. So please do not try to say any of the examples given above because it will be a one-way ticket to Fail-town.
